Flapple and Appletun Pokémon Pin Sells out in Minutes

The Flapple and Appletun Pokemon Pin has sold out in minutes on PokemonCenter.com! I don’t know if they started with low stock or if these thing are much more popular than I know… who knows. Seriously, tell me in the comments if you know.

You can find the pin here: https://www.pokemoncenter.com/product/710E10499/flapple-and-appletun-pokemon-monthly-pins-dragon-types-pin-10-of-12

It’s the Year of the Dragon—celebrate with a new collection of monthly pins featuring Appletun and other Dragon-type Pokémon! The Apple Wing Pokémon and Apple Nectar Pokémon are here on a beautiful pin that makes for a bold accessory and a special addition to any collection. A translucent, stained glass-style backdrop highlights the majesty of this magnificent type.

  • Pin measures about 2 inches high
  • Grass- and Dragon-type Pokémon originally discovered in Galar
  • Rubbery backers help keep the pin in place
  • Part of the Pokémon Monthly Pins: Dragon Types collection
  • Pokémon Center Original
  • Country Of Origin: Made in China

Country of Origin… China. I would like to take a second to point out that if Trump and Gang get their way this pin would most likely be subject to 60% tariffs. I do not believe the Republican held Congress or Trump Administration will make an exception for toys and games. If anything toys and games are a perfect target because there’s so few companies to provide real opposition. It’s not like oil and gas where you have a number of huge companies.

At 60%, which is the BASE of the price rise you’d experience, this pin would cost you nearly $21. And I say base because the price rise will inevitably be higher due to the increased cost of tariff compliance to businesses and businesses using the tariff as an excuse to pad their profit margins.

Prepare yourself for a number of Pokemon products to cost significantly more than you’re paying today. If anything, if you can afford it, go ahead and purchase your Pokemon products now or plan to in the next… I’d say… 4 to 5 months. But hey, watch your wallet too because you can’t be letting Pokemon drain your accounts.

Remember tariffs are not paid by countries but ultimately by the consumer.

Anyway, it is a nice pin.
