The short answer is yes and no.
If you mean can sharks walk across dry land like humans or even crabs… the answer is a big fat no. Sharks simply aren’t built to handle that sort of thing.
But if you mean can they wiggle walk their way out of say a tidal pool into another or into the open ocean the answer is yes! The epaulette shark really is known to “walk”, propel, across the sea floor on its fins and what I’d call wiggle walk its way over bits of land.

But unlike some of the mockumentaries made by Discovery in the past, Island of the Walking Sharks seems to feature some real science.
