There is a technique, an explanation, but until you’ve actually done it yourself… there’s something magical about it.
Bob Ross had a bit of showmanship as well… by using transparent colors in the liquid clear applied to the canvas before starting to paint… he magically brought red or blue or whatever color to life out of nowhere while applying white paint.
