Okay… third time is the charm… another new body from Canon!
This time it’s a new mirrorless offering… the EOS M6. Believe it or not the M6 sports the same 24 megapixel APS-C sensor, same DIGIC 7 image processor, and the same Dual Pixel CMOS AF.
What’s new is one more dial on the body.
The M6 will retail for $780 for the body only and will be available starting in April.
And if you’d like a viewfinder for your M6 you better be prepared to cough up an extra $249.
The electronic viewfinder attachment, also new and announced on valentine’s day, retails for $249 and will be available at the beginning of April.
Want to hear something sad?
The Sony A6000 retails for $550 and includes a built in electronic viewfinder.
So you can buy the Canon M6 and the viewfinder separately for $1030 or you could pay $480 less by purchasing a very similar camera with a built in viewfinder. Hmmm…..
