Tech CEOs Kiss The Ring of Donald Trump

So apparently Tech CEOs have spent all day kissing the ring (sending happy congratulatory tweets) of Donald Trump.

Amazon founder and Executive Chairman Jeff Bezos celebrated Trump’s win in a post on X, calling it an “extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory.”

“Congratulations to President-elect @realDonaldTrump on a hard-fought victory,” Jassy wrote in a post on X. “We look forward to working with you and your administration on issues important to our customers, employees, communities, and country.”

Apple CEO Tim Cook congratulated Trump on his victory in a post on X. “We look forward to engaging with you and your administration to help make sure the United States continues to lead with and be fueled by ingenuity, innovation, and creativity,” Cook wrote.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a post on X that he hopes Trump will see “huge success in the job.” In a follow-up post, he wrote, “it is critically important that the US maintains its lead in developing AI with democratic values.”

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg called Trump’s election win a “decisive victory” and said he looks forward to working with the Trump administration. “We have great opportunities ahead of us as a country,” Zuckerberg wrote in a post on Threads, Meta’s rival to Elon Musk’s X app.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google parent Alphabet, also congratulated Trump on his victory and said he’s committed to working with the president-elect’s administration.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said: “Congratulations President Trump, we’re looking forward to engaging with you and your administration to drive innovation forward that creates new growth and opportunity for the United States and the world.”

Intel CEO Pet Gelsinger also congratulated Trump, adding that his company looks forward to “working with their administration to advance America’s technology and manufacturing leadership in the world.”

Are you seeing this sh*t? None of this is or should be necessary. CEOs should not be congratulating any President Elect in their official capacity. That’s suck up capitalism and has no place in a modern society.

While tech CEOs spend their time kissing the ring of President Elect Donald Trump, he’s busy with his gang creating asinine economic policies that are going to destroy this country’s economy. Trump and Gang are completely economically illiterate if they actually believe in the things they have all proposed and yet tech CEOs are making sure they get their messages sent off to Trump as if he’s a kid at a birthday party wondering where his birthday cards are. The CEOs who congratulated Donald Trump are certainly going to feel foolish when all of their inputs cost over 20% more.

It is ridiculous.

And while you can argue that tech CEOs are just trying to not get singled out as non conforming by the new administration… don’t you see how sick that is? Nobody should be forced by circumstance to congratulate a president. It might sound weird to you, but there’s no reason for companies to be involved in politics to this degree. You’ve just lived in a society that does this nonsense for so long that you’ve become numb to it.

You can also argue that CEOs would do the same if Kamala Harris had been elected President. It’s a good argument. But if they actually did, wouldn’t that be kissing the ring as well? I mean that’s what we’re talking about here. We’re talking about the intersection of business and politics and how its grown to inappropriate levels for a modern society.

Ultimately CEOs are all kowtowing to the new emperor.

And you know I’d also like to mention that Republicans and Trump talk about the elites and their evils and then the second they take power… they ARE the elites and consort with the previous elite class like Bezos and have zero problem with it. Elites upon elites. It’s like all these tweets from CEOs are going “welcome home” to Donald Trump.

I have no idea why we’re doing this.
