The Orwellian Tint of the Trump Administration

Continuing the Orwellian, doublethink, nonsense of the Trump administration…

Donald Trump ranting about how he believes the book Fear is some kind of elaborate conspiracy against him.

So Donald Trump believes that the book Fear by Bob Woodard is somehow a conspiracy to get him impeached.

A conspiracy set forth by the Democratic party.

Specifically to get him impeached? Or… something…

That’s not ludicrous at all.

This man is totally emotionally stable and not suffering from paranoia.

“In a way, the world−view of the Party imposed itself most successfully on people incapable of understanding it. They could be made to accept the most flagrant violations of reality, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. By lack of understanding they remained sane. They simply swallowed everything, and what they swallowed did them no harm, because it left no residue behind, just as a grain of corn will pass undigested through the body of a bird.”

George Orwell’s 1984

We all lie to ourselves.

We all lie to others.

But to try and force the entire world to believe your lies… well that’s just insane… but I guess ‘insane’ is the best descriptor for everything the Federal government does these days.
